This blog is a birthday present from my daughter Caroline. It has really put the skids under me because it forces me to look back on my life and what has given me (and still gives me) joy and, occasionally, misery.
Anyway, Mougins is where Anita and I have finished up. It is a pretty hilltop willage 15 minutes drive from Cannes in the South of France. From our house we look at the village and the Estoril massif. We could once just see the bay of La Napoule as well, but the trees have grown, all the way down to the coast!
How we came to be here, for more that 30 years now, is a long story to be told later.
